    La Parma

16th century dance by Giorgio Mainerio. Mainerio was born in Italy in the 1530s and was probably of Scottish ancestry (as he signed his name “Maynard”). This song, La Parma, was published in 1578 in Mainairo’s Il Primo Libro de Balli. I play guitar and whistle on this track.
